“I loved the flexibility this offered. I did not feel pressured to be at ferry for 9 am. BTW I did not have to show my voucher ( as website said) to Fuller’s to exchange for ticket. I just showed the QR code on my phone and boarded.Best winery in my opinion was Batch on stop 12. The hop on hop off bus gives you a green wrist band which is how they monitor access to bus. No need to show voucher after arriving on Island and receiving the wristband.”

“We arrived for the Lady Knox geyser and were directed to park efficiently and then walked to the viewing area. It was raining quite a bit so we were unable to sit and it was more difficult to see with umbrellas in the way however it was worth it to see the geyser. We then drove to the main park and luckily it stopped raining. The park was well worth the visit and well laid out with the 3 walks to suit everyone. The paths were good and not too slippery despite the rain. It was a fabulous experience.”

“The Hop-On Hop-Off Explorer Bus Was excellent with the price we paid. We were able to see so many nice places in Auckland- Museum, Mt. Eden, very nice & the hiking, Trinity Cathedral, you can also visit Zoo, MOTAT & other places. Both Red & Blue bus.”

“What could you not love about this experience with these cute penguins. We saw over 230 come back from a days fishing. The guides were great giving really interesting information. People need to behave, we are privileged to see these cute birds in their natural environment so we need to keep quiet and put our phones away without trying to break the rules. We also need to wrap up warm and wear a woolly hat as it gets chilly by 11pm!”

“Went here in April 2025 with a friend (in our 30's). We both thought it was great and cool to learn about the company that has made so many movies (LOTR being one of our favourites). We just wish they provided us with more information about how they did some of the work for those movies. A lot was wandering around with free time to see the 3 "movie" set ups, which was neat, but kinda wanted more learning. Definitely more entertaining for a child (lots of small activities for them and you can touch everything!). Wouldn't say it was a must do but was decent enough for the hour…”
